🌱 Who are we?

Habto is a mobility company focused on reducing transport-related carbon emissions by enhancing land-based public transportation across Europe. Our app will offer integrated, door-to-door travel solutions, including trains, buses, bikes, and car rentals, providing eco-friendly and efficient journeys. Planning a Europe-wide service, we aim to address current travel app limitations and promote greener travel choices. 

👩🏽‍💻 Role Description:

This is a volunteer remote role for a Software Engineer. You will be responsible for developing our app. This also means that you will join a startup in its infancy and will have the chance to carve out the career you envision. 

We are flexible and result-oriented, we do not value extensive hours and we respect boundaries. This is a volunteer role and our expectations for you reflect the volunteer nature of your work. We realise that other commitments may come up, therefore, your engagement should stem from your availability and should not trump your personal, professional or academic lives.

📚Qualifications: 

• Academic background in Computer Science or related field
• Interest in Software Development
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages
• Keen to learn more about software

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:

• Business proficiency in English required
• Business proficiency in German, French or any other European language (preferred but not required)
• Collaborative, Responsible and Reliable
